The firm specialized in event planning, public relations, and communications services and became an instant success. Julien learned quickly on how to build relationships with clients and government agencies and how to manage complex projects with finesse. Eventually, she would become

a business advisor for hundreds of Start Up companies, providing valuable advice on how to succeed in their respective markets.

As if that wasn’t enough, Berniece Julien also became an advocate for women in business and opened up her own foundation—the Berniece Julien Leadership and Entrepreneurship Foundation—which provided financial aid scholarships for returning female veterans and entrepreneurs from underserved communities. She continues to use her platform as a pioneer for female trailblazers everywhere who are seeking opportunity and she frequently does talks about pursuing one’s dreams despite obstacles.
